Earlier mixes here were one-shot recordings direct from vinyl using two technics 1200's, a Xone 92, and laptop based recording software. Lately I've been using DJ software to create mixes. My intention is to share some of my favorite tracks in a listenable way. I sincerely appreciate the positive feedback listeners have left for me here, in email, and in person - I'm glad you're enjoying the tracks!

As I use up my allotted bandwidth, I plan on rotating out the older episodes, so don't sleep too long on the download opportunity if interested. I heard a few things from from several folks about difficulty downloading - please right click on the download link so you can choose the location for the MP3 file.

        Cheers,
        Doc

Doctor Incredible's Flying Brigade of Sampled Funk

Hey Kids.... long time no post. Here is that funky mix I mentioned in my last episode way back in June. This one has been on my mind since the passing of the late great James Brown. The mix is a electronic organic blend of house and breaks tracks with more JB samples then you can shake a stick at, and is offered as an unofficial tribute to the Godfather of Soul. 70 minutes encoded at 192kps. Superbad!

Tribute to the JB Family - Last Minister
                Funky Guitar - Hoxton Whores
